"WILL", the first obstacle to getting the body you want
"Will", "perseverance", "determination", "push". Call it what you want, but they all boil down to the same thing; how you push yourself to get up in the morning, count your calories before even taking your first bite, and heading to the gym to push weights and sweat your way to your targets.
Producing "WILL" isn't easy. We as bodybuilders are essentially going agains the grain; actively choosing to avoid fatty foods, saying "Nope" to the free slice of cheese cake at the office, or deciding to measure your food intake at a birthday party while your friends look on.
For some of us, it gets even harder to produce some "WILL" as we also go through a bit of jeering from the people we expect to support us, our friends or family.
Get this straight, "WILL" is your essential weapon, your best tool for sculpting that slab of marble into a Greek God statue. A bit of it will go a loing way for you, and it will become your fuel when you think you have nothing left.​​
​​​​Val here (pictured below) is a great example of pure WILL. His results came as a product of pure "WILL", despite the jeering, despite the people who said it couldn't be done, despite the difficulty. I know it was tough, I went through the same thing. (picture also below)
The point if this is IT CAN BE DONE. The first step is to GO GET SOME "WILL".
