I had my meal plan and workout made! Now what?

I have been asked this question in one form or another ever since i started making meal plans and workout plans for people. It's strange to me that they sound unsure of what to do next, but I feel its not about the being "unsure" or "don't know" that the question arises. I feel, they do know what comes next, but are held back or reseved, even scared to go through it.

The normal, most obvious response is simply to FOLLOW the plan that you had asked to be made, but I have found that it isnt that simple. Certain factors hold a person back from starting their weight loss journey, such as "WILL", which i have discussed in my previous article. Hee are some of my observations.

They think that they do not have time to start working out..

People do have busier schedules now a days, I'll gie you that, but when you want something, or want to acheive something, we all know that no matter what your schedule, you will MAKE time. An hour a day for 3 days a week is incredibly small compared to other things we may spend a bit too much time on. Family and loved ones must come FIRST before the gym, but are they really the ones eating up your time?

The are apprehenive about restricting their calories, or restricting food in general.

This is very common for those who have gotten accustomed to eating a large amount of food on a daily basis. I've also observed that this is common for people who simply would like to eat what they want and not go through the "hassle" of counting calories. I know where you are comming from, and change can be hard at times, but keep this in mind: "to get what you don'e have, you have to do what you don't do". Think of it as a game, and meetin your calories gains a high score. The reward, however, being a better looking body.

They are afraid of the "cost" of eating healthy.

Some are worried that starting a healthy lifestlye would increase their cost of living. Well, a gym membership does have a price, and food isn't as cheep as w would like it to be, but being healthy overall will save you alot of cash in the long run, in doctor's bills and hospital bills. Catch my drift??

The best anwer i have for the question of "now what??" is simple, "JUMP THE HELL INTO IT!!". Tell your self about "tomorrow" and you'll never start. the plans can't do miracles, they are just guides. I can guarantee that they will work, but only if you work first. Follow the plans and watch the change. there isn't any PERFECT day to start. that day should be the day you got hold of it, and simply make adjustments later. i promise, everything will be fine, no need to check if the water is too cold or to hot, just JUMP IN.
